Lookal Beach Club
Concept: chocolate-based tasting menu, authored by Portuguese chef Luís Campos. He is new to Lookal and works together with our well-known Celestino Fernandes (ex-Espaço Luanda). The menu has 4 courses and includes starter (sushi), lobster, veal loin, and dessert.
Says the restaurant: “When Princess Maria Teresa of Spain became engaged to King Louis XIV of France, she sent him chocolate as a gift in a heart-shaped basket, thus giving rise to the custom of lovers to present themselves with chocolate. Inspired by the tradition between King Louis XIV of France and Princess Maria Theresa of Spain, we have created this menu totally thinking about the harmony between chocolate and love.
Reason: It’s the trendy restaurant right now. Good to see and be seen. And the restaurant is beautiful.

Landana Restaurant
Concept: tasting menu by renowned Angolan chef Rui Sá, based on innovative interpretations of national products. The menu has 5 courses: starter (oysters!), smoked lobster, snapper tranche, veal loin and dessert.
Reason: stage for our next Nómada Dinner by LNL (on the 20th of February), Lândana, located in the Alvalade neighborhood, is one of the restaurants with the best quality-price ratio here in the urban center, taking into account who is in the kitchen. For Valentine’s Day, Chef Rui Sá prepared a menu in his own way. This chef’s food is definitely worth a try.

Long Live Luanda
Concept: tasting menu with two starter options, four main course options, and two dessert options).
Reason: Viva Luanda, on Cruzeiro, is already a classic and one of our favorite restaurants in Luanda. Eating well here is guaranteed, and the menu promises. This is the place to choose if the main objective of this night is to taste the way it should be.

Why: we like Oon.dah for its fusion cuisine, for the possibility of going to the cinema before or after dinner (the restaurant is located in Shopping Avennida), and for the excellent value for money.

Reason: Bico do Sapato is back, now under new management. This is a well-decorated, quiet, and cozy space for more discreet couples who want to enjoy a quieter meal out of the spotlight. It is located inside the stadium of the Coqueiros Stadium.

We don’t know what the concept is. We don’t know prices. We don’t know anything. All we know is that they are having a special dinner. We consider Nikki’s House to be one of the most romantic restaurants in Luanda, if not the most romantic, and that’s why we include it in this list. Based on our last meal there, you won’t regret it.
