This is a community operated campsite situated in the middle of nowhere, on a dry riverbed. It is most suitable for stopover and overnight stay for travelers heading to and from Marienfluss and Hartman Valley. It is advised to make bookings on arrival as it is not always to possible to make bookings in advance.

The campsite offers a variety of accommodation facilities ranging from chalets to private campsites with food preparations areas, sinks, and braai areas (outdoor living spaces) with separate male and female showers. Other facilities available include a stone-built reception area as well as deep freeze facilities. Marble Campsite offers biking, hiking, climbing, landscapes, geology, and 4×4 routes as well as a rich culture.
